Punk Police was inspired by years of police brutality, police aggression, and police profiling from law enforcement agencies throughout the United States of America. The Hunter's Point Police Department released a video mocking the citizens in the Bayview/Hunter's Point neighborhood. I saw it, was outraged, and decided to retaliate one of the ways I know to be very effective. Right in the eardrums of the youth. It was very gratifying during that time to hear the song played up and down 3rd Street. Bay Area remix, shouts out to DJ Daryl.
