One of the best songs i've ever produced. I've had a copy of The Willie Lynch Speech for over 20 years. I've read it many times and every time i would read it it sends chills through my body. I'd ask brothas if they had ever read it, most said no, i offered it for them to read, they said no. One day i was in the studio and i had the paper in my bag, i had a really errie beat with lots of soul and feeling i had no idea what to do with. I started to read the text, listening to the beat, i asked TC to please press record, turned on the light and started to read. Read it all the way through, One Take Jake.
I was shocked, it was like something else was with me, or i can just read good. I figured if they wouldn't read it they would at least listen to it, you know what....I was right!
