2006 was a very sentimental time for me. One of my cousins was released from prison after an 11-year stretch. Another cousin was yet to be released and was forever in my heart and mind. My sister just passed away from what I believe was cancer, to this day I still don't know. My uncle/cousin Big D (Derek Crenshaw) also tragically drowned in a boating accident. I came to the studio one day a little higher than usual off Remy Martin and asked TC to just press record. I let it go. This was a freestyle that came out of me from the pain that I was feeling that day. If you've lost a loved one, I think you can relate. Pour out a little liquor.
