The streets in the ghetto are cold. You come across some very cryptic characters on a daily basis. Sellassie loves to write allegorically, describing people, places and things. Hustlers came in all shapes and sizes in the Bay Area streets when he was coming up. If you listened to rap music in the Bay Area, Too Short was more influential than Run DMC. I think you'll hear some of the influences of Too Short in Sellassie's music, and this song. Parental discretion advised.
