A track with my cousin A-1. At that time, my cousins had formed a group called Game Related, and were really on the ball. It was cool to be rapping with my cousins, we never got to doing shows and the traveling part, but the times we were rapping are priceless to me. We have different subject matter when we rap, A-1 and I, so we didn't do a lot of tracks. I wanted him on this particular track so badly, and the subject matter was universal. I just said, "cousin do what you do. It's gonna be cool, just don't cuss too much." Ballad of a Black Man was a glimpse into that time.
