Sellassie's latest record, and some say his most political record, is filled with socioeconomic issues from the first track "You're to Blame," to the last track "Change the World." This is a record produced by Dana Erikson out of Cambridge, Massachusetts. It is unique due to the all the East Coast inspired beats, with an all West Coast inspired lyricist. Not a West Coast cat living on the East Coast, or an East Coast cat living on the West Coast, but two cats hooking up from opposite sides of the country with two different inspirations and influences. In time, people will begin to realize and see the power associated with this album. It features tracks such as "Ol' Willie," "Now That You Found Love," the single "And They Don't Know Why," and the in-the-trunk sensation "Fast Life." Sins of Your Forefathers just came to Sellassie. It definitely was not planned. That is what beats do to you when you genuinely feel them in your soul. You can write until the ink dries out.
